The Darby Project became a National Ranger Memorial Foundation "Friend of the Rangers" This donor program was initiated in 1994 and continues today. The initial donation the donor receives an engraved plaque. Subsequent annual donations the donor receives a year marker to be placed on the plaque. The minimum donation is $500.00. The National Ranger Memorial Foundation accepts gifts of cash, real property, and codicils from wills.

Ryan R. reached out to the Darby Project. Ryan informed the Darby team that he was not able to pay his phone bill. His business collapsed and he had not received a pay check in two weeks from his new job. Over Facebook messenger Ryan sent his cell phone number and the last four of his social security number. Darby Project called AT&T and paid his outstanding balance. This was crucial at this specific moment to help one of Ryan’s Ranger buddy’s in distress.
