To whom it may concern,
Since the founding of The Darby Project in February of 2015 we have raised $11,000.00 and donated $7,671.00 back to the Ranger veteran community. We have also formed partnerships with Service 2 School, Warrior Scholar Project, Hire Heroes USA, Rally Point 6, and Sua Sponte Elite Race Team. These partnerships have increased the resources available to the Ranger veteran community providing advantages and access to colleges, jobs, and a civilian life filled with hope and purpose.
More importantly The Darby Project Chapters have been a huge success in 2015, thanks to donations and contributions from people like you. And with 2016 right around the corner we have Run Ranger Run, a chapter president gathering, and The Darby Project Dog Program to look forward to. Our goal in 2016 is to double the chapters to 30, raise $75,000.00 and provide 5-7 service companion dogs. With these accomplishments we will make an even bigger impact for our community and future Ranger veterans. Powerful brands capture resources and powerful brands have the potential to support new ventures and develop new opportunities. In 2016 let’s make The Darby Project a powerful brand.
The Darby Project Dog Program
By working in collaboration with U.S. Special Operations Command Care Coalition (USSOCOM) we are identifying Special Operations Veterans that are in need of a companion or service dog. Once identified and thorough interviews are complete The Darby Project will provide the veteran with a service companion dog free of charge to provide assistance and facilitate the veteran’s needs. There will be an administrative trail used to follow up and ensure that the veteran and their service companion dogs are having a civilian life filled with hope and purpose. As this continues to grow we ask that if you identify special operations veterans that are in need of a companion or service dog to please reach out to The Darby Project HQ team.
“The cynics will tell you that the good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. I’m telling you, do it anyway. We must all leed by example, create the community we want. We must act everyday with integrity, we must be loyal not just to the company flag, but to our own personal code of honor.”
