The Darby Project is happy to announce that 2/75 Ranger veteran David Fisher is the winner of a top of the line rifle scope from Leupold+Stevens!
Fisher and his teams from MG+M Law Firm raised over $13,000 for The Darby Project, an Army Ranger transition focused not-for-profit, during the GallantFew’s annual Run Ranger Run this February. The Leupold Mark 5-HD 5-25×56 Rifle Scope with H-59 Front Focal Reticle was donated by Leupold+Stevens as part of the company’s enduring support to the military veteran community.
“Leupold+Stevens was excited to be a part of Run Ranger Run through our donation of a Mark 5-HD Rifle Scope to the highest performing Darby Project team,” said Sam Horseman, Leupold+Stevens Director of Military Sales.
During the month of February, Fisher and more than 100 MG+M Law Firm employees from across the country formed 10 Run Ranger Run teams, logging more than 10,000 miles and raising $13,140.
“My teams look forward to Run Ranger Run every year,” said Fisher. “Right after the New Year, when resolutions are long forgotten, Run Ranger Run comes along and provides us motivation not only for ourselves, but for our efforts to serve a higher purpose by supporting Rangers through The Darby Project. It continually amazes me how Run Ranger Run grows each year with companies like Leupold who are so supportive of the veteran community. I can’t wait for next year!”
The Darby Project connects, educates and empowers Ranger Veterans to lead the way in their communities and live a life of full hope and purpose. The Darby Project conducts and supports professional development, transition, therapeutic recreation, and family and single Ranger programs for active duty and veteran Rangers. “We are thankful that Ranger veterans like David Fisher step up and lead the way in efforts to advocate for our Rangers,” said Steven Brown, a 3d Ranger Battalion veteran and Darby Project Ambassador.
